Classification & Handicaps

Listed here are the classifications and handicaps for members who have shot at least three rounds, both outdoors and indoors.

Classifications

The classifications are worked out depending on age and gender, e.g. G = Adult Gent, L14 = Lady Under 14, G50 = Gent 50 or Over, and so on.NC denotes Not Classified, i.e. the requisite three rounds have not been shot that season. The classifications in ascending order denote:

You can only claim the latter three classifications at a record status open tournament.

Handicaps

A handicap is a numerical value that decreases as you improve. It allows you to add a handicap-allowance value to your score which means that, e.g. for the end-of-month Portsmouths which are handicap-adjusted, the archer improving their usual score the most scores higher than an archer who may have a high score but has not improved on their usual score.
